
Jorge Luis Prats is a distinguished pianist whose career reflects both technical brilliance and profound musical sensitivity. Educated at Cuba’s National School of Arts and awarded a scholarship to study in Moscow, Paris, Vienna, and Warsaw, he captured first prize at the 1977 Marguerite Long–Jacques Thibaud Competition—including special honors for Ravel and Jolivet interpretations. He established an international career as both soloist and sought-after juror in major piano competitions in the world.

Eglise Gutiérrez, Cuban-American coloratura soprano, debuted professionally in 2003 in Lucia di Lammermoor and is a graduate of Philadelphia’s Academy of Vocal Arts (2004). She has earned top honors including the Mirjam Helin, Montserrat Caballé, and Marian Anderson competitions. European stages welcomed her in 2005 with Maria di Rohan at Wexford Festival; she later starred in the title role of Linda di Chamounix at Covent Garden (2009) and performed Amina in La sonnambula there in 2011. Her repertoire spans Lucia, Gilda, Violetta, Lakmé, and many others, with engagements at Teatro Colón, Royal Opera House, and Carnegie Hall.

Taimy Balbuzano is an accomplished conductor, educator, and arts leader. She is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Musicall, Inc. and Assistant Conductor of the FIU Symphony Orchestra. Since 2013, she has led Musicall and the Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami to national and international acclaim, including first prizes at the 2023 and 2024 Summa Cum Laude Music Competition in Vienna. A Barry University graduate, Balbuzano is also pursuing advanced conducting studies at FIU with Maestro Javier Mendoza. Her work reflects a passion for orchestral performance, education, and community engagement, and she is recognized for her dynamic conducting style and commitment to excellence.

Juan Carlos Gonzalez leads the Miami International Arts & Music Youth Festival as its Executive Director, bringing more than a decade of experience as Co-Founder and CEO of Musicall, Inc. Since 2013, he has developed award-winning educational programs, including the Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami, and built international partnerships that have taken young musicians to acclaimed stages in Vienna, Italy, and beyond. His focus is clear: nurturing the next generation of artists, encouraging dialogue between cultures, and celebrating musical excellence. For Juan Carlos, this work is more than organizational skill—it is driven by the belief that music unites people beyond borders and generations. He is deeply convinced that music and the arts are powerful tools for social change and education, improving academic outcomes, fostering creativity, inclusion, and emotional well-being, and strengthening communities.

Roxana Delgado bridges the worlds of fashion, art, and design. A creative consultant, designer, and stylist, they have built a career at the intersection of aesthetics and business, producing artistic experiences that inspire and connect. As a business owner and creative guide, they bring vision, strategy, and innovation to the festival’s atmosphere and identity.
