APPLICATION

Application to the MIAMY Festival is open to young artists and musicians of all nationalities under the age of 26. Up to 10% of participants in each group may be between the ages of 26 and 30. Conductors, ensemble directors, and collaborative pianists are exempt from the age limit.

How to Apply

Participation in the MIAMY Festival involves a multi-step process:

1. Submit Your Application

   • Complete the online application form

   • Upload all required materials (see below)

   • Pay the non-refundable registration fee

2. Receive Confirmation

   • Applications will be reviewed, and decisions will be issued within 2 weeks of receiving all materials

   • Deadline for complete applications: October 1st, 2025 

3. Secure Your Spot

   • Upon acceptance, a deposit toward the participation package is required within 4 weeks

Important Notes

• Participation in the Competition Division requires a minimum of 20 performers, including the conductor.

• There is no minimum required for artists, soloists or small ensembles entering the Showcase Division.

Submission Deadlines

By October 1st, 2025:

• Completed application form

• Performance video or portfolio

• Group biography and conductor/ensemble leader’s résumé

• Preliminary stage plan

By December 1st, 2025 (latest):

• One original conductor’s score for each competition work and each workshop piece
  (Scores for any festival-assigned repertoire do not need to be submitted)

• Participant data sheet with full list of group members

• Finalized stage plan, including placement of instruments and participants
